The Perth Scorchers are on track to secure their place in the BBL finals, downing the Adelaide Strikers by 32 runs off the back of a stunning opening partnership.
Sent in to bat first, openers Mitch Marsh and Finn Allen combined for an absurd tally of 81 runs off just 29 balls.
With Allen falling for 38, Marsh went on to make a superb 88 runs off 51, smashing 13 boundaries including seven sixes en-route to a strong victory in the City of Churches.

Despite the return of Test hero Alex Carey, the Strikers were unable to chase down Perth's extensive tally of 232, managing just 200 in a respectable effort at Adelaide Oval.
The Scorchers now sit in second place with 10 points. A win against the Renegades on Thursday confirms their place in the BBL finals.
