Bumrah dominant again as Aussie tail fights on in Perth

Australia have battled to a total of 104 on Day 2 of the first test match in Perth. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood attempted to rescue the Aussies after more Bumrah heroics.
The session belonged to the visitors with their new captain Jasprit Bumrah taking the wicket of Alex Carey (21) with his very first ball of the day. The skipper claimed his 11th 5-wicket haul in test matches.
Nathan Lyon (5) fell not long thereafter. Giving Rana his second wicket and figures of 2/47.
Josh Hazlewood joined Mitchell Starc in the middle for a small fightback to keep the hosts in the game.

It wasn’t without its moments with Hazlewood snicking through the slips for a boundary and Starc being hit in the helmet just before drinks.
Nonetheless, the duo remained resilient and combined for 25 off 109 balls. The longest and largest partnership out of the entire Australian team thus far.
India struggled to deal with the rotation of Starc, allowing the left-hander to face the large majority of the action. The tourists broke through just before the lunch break. Starc (26) departed after skying the ball to Pant. Hazlewood (7 not out) remained undefeated.
India’s openers Jaiswal and Rahul will head to the crease after the main break. India finished with a lead of 47 runs ahead of the second innings. The second session will commence at 4 pm (AEDT) and 1 pm (local time).
