"Don't f---ing talk to me": Piastri rages after F1 chaos

Oscar Piastri is not well known for turning the radio waves blue but that all changed during the Hungarian Grand Prix when the Aussie unleashed on his rivals as well as his own team.
For the third time this season, Piastri failed to finish a Grand Prix, despite starting third on the grid and leading the race at one stage.
It all came undone on lap 39 after the 26-year-old had been pitted and, as he tried to make a move on Carlos Sainz, the Williams made contact with his McLaren.
Piastri was leading the race and was trying to lap Sainz but the damage to his car ultimately ended his chance of a win and of finishing the Grand Prix.
“Get out of the f---ing way you idiot! Oh my god,” Piastri yelled on the radio.
Furious with the fact his team had pitted him before Lando Norris, the fury was not just reserved for Sainz.
“Oscar, that’s Sainz that cost us that target. Target is to get to the end on this tyre,” his race engineer said.
Piastri raged: “Oh mate, it’s better you don’t f---ing talk to me right now. Nice of you guys to factor that one in by the way, thanks.”
Sainz copped a five-second penalty for the incident which caused race ending damage to Piastri’s gearbox.
Asked to elaborate on his colourful language after the race, Piastri said: “It was more the fact that I got crashed into by a lapped car.
“I think the timing of my stuff was fine; we wanted to cover off Hamilton, which was perfectly normal. Without getting crashed into, I would have been ahead of Lando still.
“So from that side of things I was fine. At the moment I was incredibly annoyed. In fact, annoyed is not the word I would use, but there are a multitude of words that I would. With Carlos and then obviously when Lando came in ahead.
"I knew I had no pace to go and attack him.
“So I knew my chance of winning the race was done from there. In the moment, I was pissed off that I’d lost the lead of the race, but that wasn’t the fault of the team.
“I couldn’t believe what happened. Getting crashed into by a lapped car is never one of the things you expect that can go wrong in your race. Today, of course, I don’t really care if he didn’t see me. The fact that he didn’t and no one told him, or there was a lack of complete awareness, is unacceptable.”
Adding salt to the wound of a third DNF/DNS of the season, Piastri's teammate Norris claimed his first victory as the sport prepares for it's month-long summer break.
Norris shared the podium with Max Verstappen in second and Kimi Antonelli third.
