“We’ve told the owners”: Strong push for $20 chance at Flemington

Michael Kent Jnr, the co-trainer of Robrick, is confident that his horse can cause an upset in Race 5 at Flemington this Saturday.
Robrick is currently $21 with Sportsbet for the Tontonan Stakes (1400m) and Kent Jnr has told the owners to place their bets on the five-year-old.
The gelding will be second-up, coming out of a tough race at Moonee Valley over 1200m where it finished sixth on August 23.
Kent Jnr told SENTrack & RSN’s Giddy Up that the form from that race will put Robrick in good stead for the Tontonan Stakes.
“The horse is thriving, he’s got a beautiful coat, he comes out of that Red Hot Nicc at Moonee Valley where nothing had a chance to make up ground,” Kent Jnr said.
“Raikoke just won out of that race (at Sandown on Wednesday).”
Furthermore, Kent Jnr believes the conditions will set up perfectly for the gelding to win his third career race.
“He can (cause an upset),” Mick Price's co-trainer said.
“We’ve told the owners to have something on him.
“1400m, drawn a good gate, down in the weights, he’s got good listed form at different times in his career, and he’s going very well.
“So, at $21 (on Sportsbet) I think he’s a cheeky each-way for sure.”
