Josh Hazlewood ruled out of the Ashes
Josh Hazlewood's bid to recover from injury in time to play a role in the Ashes is over.
An injury to his Achilles last week has ended any hopes of returning to face England and he will instead focus on being fit for the Twenty20 World Cup next February and March.
Prior to the Achilles issue, Hazelwood was ruled out of the opening Tests because of a hamstring concern.
Australia captain Pat Cummins is set to return for the third Test in Adelaide with his side 2-0 up in the series.
