Race 9 #15 Glorious Moments
Glorious Moments couldn't have been more impressive last start, overcoming a tough run in transit while lumping 60.5kg before putting the race away with a sharp finishing sprint. It was the type of performance that suggested he's come back in terrific order.
The set-up looks even more favourable this time. Drawing barrier four should allow him to settle much closer without spending any petrol early, and the drop to 53kg is a significant advantage.
If he enjoys the economical run the map suggests, he'll be extremely hard to hold out over the closing stages.
Race 4 #1 Big Red Tequila
Big Red Tequila looks to have found an ideal assignment. This isn't the deepest race on the card and she brings the strongest exposed form into the contest.
Her recent efforts against Ice Kool measure up well in comparison to this field, and dropping back to take on mares gives her a clear class edge.
She's already proven at the 1100m, maps to enjoy a comfortable run in the small field and looks well placed to capitalise.
