Nowra: Race 3, No.1 - Maritime ExpressWas pretty good in the first prep albeit at a really short price on debut. Was decent in a tougher race form wide gate before tipped out. Has trialled up well and the race ain’t great! The gate has been offset by scratchings. Will go forward and be very hard to beat!
Nowra: Race 4, No.2 - PetawawaNever a chance last start in a highway from a horrible gate and actually wasn’t as disgusting as it might read on paper, what I will say is that she was great two back here. Good track, plus as is the gate. Only been to the mile once and was last prep run at Moonee Valley so although there is a slight question on the distance, I am not basing her 1600m form on that run. She will box away and Jay Ford will give her a peach!
Nowra: Race 7, No.12 - Presumptuous GirlThis girl is screaming out for 1600m! Finds a much easier race than both her runs so far and I think today we will see a much better filly. Ignore her only good track run on debut as the race stacks up ok over short trip. This race is only just and I think she will be too good!!
Campbell Brown
Nowra: Race 2, No.5 - You CountThird-up this prep, got race experience and fitness on its side against some of these debutants. Drawn well, senior jockey onboard. Should jump and lead and if rated well up front will be hard to beat. $3.30.
Nowra: Race 5, No.12 - Dancing ManWon its maiden comfortably last start. Nice claim today to get some weight off the back and has drawn well. Should box seat and be strong late. Can measure up in B58 grade and make it two in a row. $3.50.
