Bathurst: Race 2, No.4 - BRANDYWINE (place)Hasn’t won in 39 starts and honestly I doubt today is the day but we are getting $4 the place! Was actually decent stepping up to 1300 (from 1000) after nearly a month off. Goes slightly up to the 1400 only 2 weeks between runs and back on a firm deck with a nice gate I think can run well!
Bathurst: Race 5, No.8 - SHEZASIREN1000 excuses last start so I am forgiving her but back on a good track is a huge plus. She should be able to possie forward and sit OSL. All her runs have been in strong class and her resuming run in a strong form race wins this. Panya goes back on and always runs well this combo and I think in a race lacking any depth she is going to be hard to beat!
Casino: Race 6, No.2 - HIDDEN HAILLoves the slop and I think the wide gate might actually be an advantage by R6. Claim helps but he is a horse who handles carrying weight fairly well and he has been good this prep running in races a slight. It tougher albeit same grade. Back to 1000 in this grade also works as there is some speed (including him). Will be very hard to beat!!
Casino: Race 8, No.7 - TORQUE TI AMOWon well breaking the maiden last start in identical conditions to today. Stable are flying and clearly she is a mare with some ability. The Newman claim of 2 is smart and she will appreciate getting to the 1300 3rd up! She can settle 1 out 1 back in a race that has some speed. 1 of those horses will be the fave Rustic Tzar. Was great at Ipswich last start in a tougher race and has class but I have a mall doubt on heavy in particular closer to the fence late in the day. Have included in the quaddie but Torque my girl here!
Pakenham: Race 3, No.1 - ASK THE CAPTAINBeen running well last 2 in particular in town over 1400 2 back! Back to the 1400 I’m hoping he box seats and be prominent in the run. He is a big loping horse so will need some room and luck but Stockdale is riding will and I believe he will get it done here!
Pakenham: Race 7, No.8 - PIPLUPBefore last start been running really well in races way tougher than this!!! With Goodwin now and aimed a little lower here to get a W. Drawn to be able to be a little closer in run and as long as she enjoys the Syntho she is easily the one to beat!! Fave Proshow doesn’t have the same class but he does enjoy Syntho so I’ve thrown him in the quaddie and is the danger but Pip for me!!
Campbell Brown
Pakenahm: Race 5, No.4 - PICK WISELYBuilding steadily each race. Seconnd last start on a heavy track. Should appreciate getting on the synthetic today and will be finishing hard late. $2.30
Bathurst: Race 3, No.7 - OUR EMILYFrom barrier 1 should hunt fwd to lead and say catch me if you can. After the claim gets in with 53.5kg on back. Will be a little vulnerable late, but at $4.40 I want to be on her.
Casino: Race 3, No.12 - KIRKALLDebut was good on a heavy track at Kempsey. Will have taken good benefit from that race experience and showed can handle conditions. Up to 1400m looks perfect. Plenty of scratchings leaves a field of 7. The one to beat at $2.10.
