New contender for All-Aus star; third Tiger tells club he’s leaving, Dee plots exit — Trade Whispers
A new contender for an All-Australian defender’s services has reportedly emerged.
Meanwhile, a Demons defender is anticipated to depart the club as a free agent — and a Victorian rival could be the best-suited destination, while a Geelong midfielder is set to leave and a Tiger tells the club he wants a trade.

NEW CANDIDATE EMERGES FOR PORT’S ALL-AUSTRALIAN
A new contender for All-Australian Port Adelaide defender Dan Houston’s services has reportedly emerged.
Melbourne was previously considered the likeliest landing spot for Houston if he were to depart Alberton this year, but following the public tumult surrounding the Demons, such a move is up in the air.
Now, according to SEN reporter Sam Edmund, St Kilda has emerged as a possible suitor.
The 27-year-old, who received his first All-Aus nod last year and backed it up with another tremendous campaign in 2024, is said to be interested in the prospect of returning to his home state of Victoria.
Houston’s 23.1 disposals per game this year were right on par with last year, while his 5.1 rebound-50s are easily a career-high.
However, Houston’s season is of course over after being suspended five games for a hit on Adelaide’s Izak Rankine in Round 23’s Showdown.
