BREAKING: Australia confirms 14-man squad for Gabba Test
Pat Cummins will continue to be sidelined from playing after not being named in Australia's 14-man squad against England at the Gabba for the second Test.
After bowling in the nets last week in Perth, Aussie fans would have been thrilled to see Cummins bowling with a pink ball earlier this week in Sydney, given the Gabba Test is a day/night fixture.
But it appears that Cricket Australia are taking a cautious approach with Cummins. The captain will still travel up to Brisbane to continue his preparations.
The side remains unchanged from the First Test, with Usman Khawaja keeping his place in the squad despite genuine speculation surrounding his spot in the final XI.
The squad will arrive in Brisbane on Sunday.
