Miles Pfitzner's 11 most underrated things in racing
SENTrack’s Miles Pfitzner has had a deep think and delivered his 11 most underrated things in racing.
From greyhound races to beer, Pfitzner has covered all aspects of the sport.
See Pfitzner’s list below:

11 – Irony
“Something which a lot of people didn't really fathom (with my overrated list), is irony and taking the p-ss," Pfitzner said on SENTrack's Lay Back.
“So, irony is underrated.”

10 – Greyhound races
“If you haven't been to the greyhound races, (you need to go).
“I hadn't been and went recently. Greyhound racing in general is underrated.”

9 – Good entertainment
“Good entertainment at the races,” said Pfitzner.
“It's all well and good to go and get some sort of tribute band, but if you go and roll out someone of note, like Dom Dolla post-races.
“We've recycled a lot of the old guys. What is underrated is really good entertainment at the races.”

8 – Lay Back
“This show (Lay Back). Completely underrated," exclaimed Pfitzner.
“It doesn't get the plaudits it deserves this show.”

7 – WA Racing
“WA racing, completely underrated.
“It's the best betting anywhere in Australia. It is the best place in Australia to race a horse, training costs versus prize money.
“WA racing in general to bet is unbelievable and underrated.”

6 – Good tracks
“Good tracks are brilliant, need more of them, good tracks, we need it," continued Pfitzner.
“That leads into staying away from wet decks.”

5 – Fast betting apps
“If you've got a betting agency and your app isn't elite to navigate and it's not quick, you're in trouble.
“Underrated is fast betting apps.”

4 – Staffing at race days
“If you have to wait in line when you're there for anything more than about five or six minutes, you have not staffed correctly, you're trying to burn money, and you are doing the event a disservice.”

3 – Staking
“A lot of people make this big error when betting, which is that they bet the same amount, every race, for 10 races.
“When you learn how to stake properly, you will entirely change the way you go about it.”

2 – Normal beer at racecourses
“This could quite easily be number one.
“Normal beer, meaning Carlton Draught, Hahn Superdry, Asahi, something that most people will drink.
“Craft beer only at some of those racecourses, it doesn't work. Not everyone likes these yeasty, hoppy things you have to drink with a spoon.”

1 – Cash
“The number one most underrated thing in racing, cash," Pfitzner exclaimed.
“Cash is king.
“Going and putting a bet on at the TAB or at a bookie and having cash in your hand, cash is king.
“You don't leave money in your betting accounts, you want cash in your hand, under your bed, under your pillow.
“Number one most underrated thing in racing is cash.”
