Putting team bias aside… The best ruckman in the AFL is? See the results!
Who is the best ruckman in the AFL?
We asked the fans via the 2024 SEN AFL Fan Survey and the answers came in thick and fast.
More than 2,000 votes have been tallied to find out which ruckman of the nine nominated you believe is the best in the AFL.
There is very little surprise that Melbourne captain Max Gawn is considered by the majority to be the competition’s best ruckman.
The premiership skipper and seven-time All-Australian has received 57 per cent of the votes to sit comfortably clear of the rest.
North Melbourne’s Tristan Xerri is second with a tick under 12 per cent of the votes while St Kilda’s Rowan Marshall is third with a little less than eight per cent.
Brisbane’s Oscar McInerney is next on 6.4 per cent narrowly ahead of Carlton’s developing ruck Tom De Koning on 5.9 per cent.
