The lads have taken a close look at Sandown, Randwick, Doomben, Murray Bridge, Beaudesert & Darwin in a bid to find the family some winners.

SANDOWN
Race 3 | 12. Brass In Pocket
Was very good last start first crack at 1400 and got caught late by 2 horses, 1 of which will win R6 today. Was in the inferior ground closer to the fence and expect almost identical run today. If TN comes off the fence she might have won and be held in even higher regard. Can roll over from the gate without major speed inside. The 3kg claim has her in with no impost which is great. Concord Connie and Bella Verona is great form for this and I think 2nd go at the 1400 works and will be hard to catch!
Race 4 | 7. Shockletz
I've liked this girl for a while now last winter she was great for me punting wise and io expect that again today. She was brilliant in the Golden Mile over unsuitable distance and she does enjoy Sandown. Inside gate isn't a major issue with a small field but Gilded Water getting away with slow speed might be. LB will need to balance being close enough but not too close to take away her turn of foot. The claim means nice weight advantage and she loves the soft and I think her fitness over the Kings horse will be the difference late!
Race 6 | 9. Bella Verona
I am still flat about last start when I backed her, she had a little bad luck and then fell a head short. She is drawn perfectly today to sit 3 pairs back with speed expected (Keep It Real/Kim) among others to push forward) She seems like a girl who will enjoy 1600 and has a bunch of class. Soft track no concern and she will have plenty of time to stretch out at Sandown and beat these!
Race 7 | 12. Nation's Call
From that gate wont have any issue sliding forward and controlling the race. Would need him to jump a little better than last start so fingers crossed. LN goes on for the first time and the 1600 doesn’t read amazing but you can find excuses (like last start) 3rd up on a soft track is the perfect set up and I think he will roll along nicely and be very hard to get past!
RANDWICK
Race 4 | 5. Thebudgiesmugla
Gets back to the 2400 which is his best performed trip! Was good last start leading but it can be tactically flexible and he can take a little sit today if a couple push up inside him. Speed including Thrice drawn wider so I do expect he can get to the fence either way. 3rd up on the soft a perfect setup and will be very hard to beat!
Race 5 | 10. Donatello
Here we go!!! I am not sure I have ever been as keen on a maiden in a BM72 as I am here! 3 wide last no cover in a maiden last start and still was strong late. Up in trip is a big plus (as will next week in QLD Derby if he wins) Again no luck from the gate so Schiller will need to snag back (speed will be enough with Agent Zero) but today cover is important. He has trialled up well since and with no weight on his back he is ready to go bang and head to QLD.
Race 6 | 10. Scintilla (each-way)
I backed her last start and she ran exactly how the market suggested when she drifted late albeit no major luck either. Today at $14 the market has missed her. She ran like she needed 1400 and she gets back to it today. 3rd up and fit works as does toe into ground. I can find an excuse about her 2 runs this prep so if she gets some luck today, I can see her running a really nice race and is a great each way play!
Race 7 | 11. King Of The Sea
Surely it's time this bloke wins. Was huge 1st up and was even better 2nd up at Gosford when given no real chance. Staying at the 2000 works on this bigger track and he loves 2000. I am the Empire will ensure speed and hoping KOTS doesn’t get back as far as last start but even if he does I still think he is too good. If he doesn't peak today 3rd up over 2000 I will get worried about his ability to win.

SANDOWN
Race 8 | 13. King Zephyr
The King loves the Hillside track and is best when ridden quietly, looks to be speed on paper so the quicker they go the better it suits, he is a handy horse and third up here he is cherry ripe to win.
RANDWICK
Race 4 | 10. De Louviere
Is hard fit and racing well he will love the 2400 on the big track and the jar off the ground is perfect, K Mc knows him well.
DOOMBEN
Race 9 | 7. The Inflictor
This horse has been great at both runs in and he loves Doomben if he gets the right run he will be giving this a shake.
MURRAY BRIDGE
Race 8 | 13. My Zephyr
This horse has been unlucky at the last couple and is drawn perfectly to be ridden cold off a quick tempo, can run well.
BEAUDESERT
Race 3 | 6. Booya Boy
Will be improved with the time under his belt and has speed, he will run them ragged here.
DARWIN
Race 3 | 5. Self Serve
Was unlucky last start and should have finished closer, today is her race, all the best punters!
