Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Geelong & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.

GEELONG
Race 2 | 9. Leonchroi
Chased home Shockletz last start (and belted third) in a much tougher race than this and the rail might not have been the best place that day! The good track most certainly is to its liking and even though it's drawn really well It will need a smidge of luck in a big field but I much prefer this gate to where he was drawn two starts back this exact track and distance. Logan Bates stays on is riding well and the claim is a great call again here! Slight concern that he always finds one to beat him but there's no excuses today with the setup and he should be too good!
Race 6 | 1. Ndola
I can't see a massive amount of speed in this race unless Harry's Yacht gets really keen which he does have a tendency to do but either way I want to see this bloke closer than last start in that tougher race behind Persian Spirit. He loves 1400m, good track is his jam and Radley takes the 3KG here which sees him here with a winnable weight. That last run was off a six week break so the quicker turn around here will also aid him and I expect him in a decent race to be deep in the finish.
Race 7 | 10. Sweethearted
Fourth up back to the 1100m works for this gelding who won on the this day last year! Hit the line really well off a slow tempo last start and the race has held up really well with multiple winners coming out of it. Smaller field today means HC won't need to go searching for a run but I would like to see him a little prominent in the early going. Dry track his best surace and the fave is giving him 6.5kg with an interesting set up back to 1100m. This race will be set up by Port Albert, if he goes ridiculously fast resuming it's going to help this bloke find clear room but either way I think he'll run a huge race.
Race 8 | 8. Reset The Jazz
Was really disappointing in the Wodonga Cup albeit caught three wide no cover but has had five weeks off and had a jumpout since. His best asset is controlling the race so expect Radley (no claim) to do exactly that today back up to 1700m where he is one from one. Good track no issue and as long as he is in a rhythm he will be very hard to run down in what is another great edition of the Coastal Classic.
RANDWICK
Race 5 | 10. Alabama Fox
Wouldn't want to back in much shorter but she will belt these. Favourite punters got burnt last start but that was off a 60 day break, quicker turn around here and absolutely no horse to worry her in front. This will be the easiest speed map of the day, she'll jump well, cruise on over control the race on the fence and with no weight on her back they won't get near her!
Race 6 | 2. Changing Colours (each-way)
Everything about this race and it's set up is perfect for this girl who I thought was really good first up! She normally runs well second up, she loves 1400m, a good track is perfect and Grima takes the claim in a huge bonus. Flying Thinker and Aroha Stone will make sure there is speed which will give Changing Colours every chance to run on. As long as their isn't a disadvantage for backmarkers she will run a huge race and his over the odds and a great each way play!
Race 8 | 1. Cool Jakey
He got going late resuming in a race holding up form wise. The step 1100m to 1400m is a small little concern but I think he'll be fit enough to be able to do what he does traditionally second up and run very well. I've backed him at $3.50 but if the rain somehow shows up he will shorten a lot but the dry wont beat him. He has never won at this track but it's not to suggest he hasn't ran well just hasn't got the nose down and I think that changes today.
Race 9 | 2. Hawker Hall
Up in weight today but down in class and his ability to jump, find the rail and cruise at his own rhythm means the impost won't matter. Won a trail since EASILY which included Shaggy who is here today. He handles all track conditions and the 1100m is perfect. This race has some nice horses resuming (Candlewick and Eye of The Fire) and has a little depth to it but I expect HH to win better races than this on the way forward!

Race 3 | 8. Ghana's Akan
It’s all about Ghana’s Akan, has trialled up like a serious galloper. Did a few things wrong early then went past them like a good horse should in her trial.
Race 6 | 3. Modown
Might be the one from pole. Pet trip with all his three wins have come over it and all wins on good tracks too. Will get every chance and his run was better than Ndola last start.
RANDWICK
Race 1 | 8. Thyme To Go
Showed ability in her latest when she was allowed to use her pace. Draws pole and hopefully can lead all the way.
Race 2 | 1. Navy Buoy
Is looking for three on the trot and there is no reason why he can’t win again. Bolted in last start in a similar race to this and gets a smart 3kg claim only carries a half more than what he won with last start. Draws soft and should jump lead and win.
Race 3 | 5. Oakfield Badger (value)
Resumes for his new stable and he has looked good winning both his trials. Draws pole to do no work and his fresh record is ok. Well worth an each-way play.
Race 8 | 1. Cool Jakey
Jakey wasn’t disgraced first up and he is always ready to fire second up winning three from four. Suited by the step up in trip and down in grade is a big plus also. Will go forward and be very hard to beat.
