SEN continues to grow as summer of cricket approaches its summit

As SEN gears up for the summer of cricket to reach its height, the network is also excited to record strong audience numbers across its Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane markets, as revealed in the latest GfK Radio 360 Survey.
Melbourne’s SEN 1116am has again recorded growth, with its cumulative audience increasing by 16,000 to 423,000 listeners each week. The station also improved its share of all people 10+ to 3.5%, reflecting its position as a leader in the sports audio market.
In Sydney, SEN 1170am achieved a cumulative audience of 169,000, showing a consistent increase across the year. Overall share among all people 10+ sits at 1.8%, with the station remaining focused on delivering high-quality sports content to its growing audience.
Brisbane’s SENQ 693am recorded a cumulative audience of 58,000, maintaining a steady performance in this competitive market with a 0.9% share of all people 10+.
Most notably, SEN’s digital platforms played a significant role in SEN’s growth in November, with the network reaching 762,000 total monthly users and 1.4 million monthly streams across its apps and website – a 24% increase year-on-year. SEN podcasts also had 436,000 unique listens in the past month, which is also an increase on the same point in time last year.
SEN’s Group Radio Director, Sam Thompson, commented on the network’s solid performance in the final survey of the year.
