SEN reports continued growth across all markets

Sports Entertainment Network’s (SEN) radio network has continued to grow in audience, according to GfK Radio 360’s Survey 2 results, released today.
Melbourne’s SEN 1116am recorded a 3.2% (All People 10+) total audience share, plus an increase in cumulative audience to 321,000.
The new breakfast programming schedule, combining analysis, opinion and ‘ramble/scramble’ with ‘Fireball with Kane & Kingy’ (with Kane Cornes and David King) on both Monday and Friday, alongside ‘Breakfast with Garry & Tim’ (Garry Lyon and Tim Watson) from Tuesday to Thursday has resulted in an increased share All People 10+ to a 4.3% (compared to 3.5% in 2024).
SEN 1170am in Sydney delivered an increase to a 2.0% share (All People 10+) and cumulative audience of 164,000, numbers which have both increased year-on-year (YoY).
Growth continued across SEN 1170am:
Breakfast with Vossy & Brandy (Andrew Voss and Greg Alexander) – up to a 1.7% share (compared to 1.3% in 2024)
Mornings with Matt White – up to a 1.8% share (compared to 1.7% in 2024)
Morning Glory with Matty Johns – up to a 1.6% share
Afternoons with Jimmy Smith – up to a 2.3% share (compared to 1.9% in 2024)
The Captain’s Run with Denan Kemp – up to a 2.3% share (compared to 2% in 2024)
The Run Home with Joel & Fletch (Joel Caine and Bryan Fletcher) – up to a 3.4% share (compared to 3% in 2024)
Sportsday with Scott Sattler & Mat Rogers – up to a 2% share (compared to 1.6% in 2024)
New show, ‘Saturday League Kick Off’, which is simulcast on Fox League Saturdays (10–11am) debuted with a 3.5% share (All People 10+).
Meanwhile, Brisbane’s SENQ 693am grew its cumulative audience to 73,000 (from 40,000) this time last year, with both share and cume increasing YoY.
Breakfast with Corey Parker & Ian Healy – up to a 1.2% share (compared to 0.8% in 2024)
Mornings with Matt White – up to a 0.8% share
Afternoons with Jimmy Smith – up to a 1% share (compared to 0.8% in 2024)
The Throwdown with Mal Meninga – up to a 1.5% share (compared to 0.9% in 2024)
The Captain’s Run with Denan Kemp – up to a 1.5% share (compared to 1% in 2024)
The Run Home with Joel & Fletch (Joel Caine and Bryan Fletcher) – 0.7% share (compared to 0.4% in 2024)
Sportsday with Scott Sattler & Mat Rogers - 0.4% share
SEN’s digital platforms again played a significant role in SEN’s strong performance throughout the survey period, recording a total of 6.092M page views from 1.1M unique users on sen.com.au.
In addition to this, SEN App page views notched 9.7M views from 180,000 unique users.
SEN’s Group Radio Director, Sam Thompson, was pleased at the network’s trending direction for 2025.
