Saturday’s racing across Flemington and Rosehill saw some massive wins by several horses.
From Mr Brightside winning his 10th Group 1 to Revelare locking himself into the Melbourne Cup, the day had plenty of fantastic stories.
See the top five wins from Saturday below:
1 – Mr Brightside
Heading into the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes the story was all about Via Sistina. However, Mr Brightside stole the spotlight.
The superstar went on to win his 10th Group 1 and completed a three-peat of Makybe Diva Stakes victories.
2 – Tempted
Tempted won the Group 2 Run to the Rose in impressive fashion.
She was first-up for Ciaron Maher and made light work of her three-year-old competition.
3 – Autumn Glow
Autumn Glow extended her unbeaten record to six straight wins.
At the 200m mark Autumn Glow separated herself from the pack to win the Group 2 Theo Marks by 2.23 lengths.
This four-year-old mare is slowly putting together an elite resume.
4 – Vinrock
After finishing fourth at Caulfield first-up, ruining his undefeated record, he was back to his best in the Exford Plate.
The Group 1 winning horse was dominant and proved he is a three-year-old here to stay.
5 – Persian Spirit
Persian Spirit kicked the Flemington race day off with a stunning victory.
In a 19-horse field on the Flemington straight Persian Spirit sprinted past the rest of the competition, winning at $51 (on Sportsbet).
