Kings Guard was unlucky when held up as they sprinted in the Gunbower Trotters Cup last time out and he savaged the line to be beaten just under 6m. His form prior is very sound against some nice rivals and this appeals as a suitable race.

Dee Roe was sensational winning a heat of the Gordon Rothacker Memorial Championship two starts back and then ran a cracking race from the chair for second in the final. He’s a horse on the way up and can get this done despite the wide draw.

Atomic Glory made a mistake last time out at Albury, but the prior runs have all been full of merit and this looks a very winnable assignment despite the bad draw.

Stick With Me closed off nicely for fourth from way back in the field last time out in a race where tonight's favourite Velvetnlace ran second and was a game third to the same horse prior. There looks a bit of early speed off the front, and I’m hoping Stick With Me can settle handy and sweep home over the top late. Hard race, but worth a small play.
