It's an image that will send chills down the neck of everyone at the FIA and in the paddock.
Two marshals crossing the track within view of Liam Lawson's car vision as he raced full pelt in the Mexico Grand Prix.
“I could have f---ing killed them," the New Zealand driver screamed down the radio to his engineer.
“Mate. Oh my god, are you kidding me? Did you just see that? Oh my god, dude."
His engineer replied: “Yep, saw it. Well done to avoid them.”
According to the commentary, the marshals were collecting debris from the track which had become an issue following two cars making contact on the opening lap.
Lawson had just come out of the pitlane after sustaining dame on the opening lap but was approaching full speed when the incident occurred.
Unfortunately for Lawson, it was not his day with the Racing Bulls driver forced to retire on the eighth lap.
Lando Norris led from start to finish to reclaim the lead in the drivers' championship from teammate Oscar Piastri.
There is now just one point between the pair with Red Bull's Max Verstappen in third, 36 points behind Norris.
