Kane Cornes has provided his list of his the most overrated things in sport.
With State of Origin kicking off for the NRL on Wednesday night, rugby league's showpiece event prompted Cornes' list.

15 – The Sydney to Hobart yacht race
"I respect everyone who does it, but as an event, it's on my list."
14 – The SCG
"Watching a game on TV at the SCG, I just don't like it. I don't think we have very good games at the SCG."
13 – Cycling
"I just think it's an overrated sport. I think cycling's for people that can't run, to be fair."
12 – Pat McAfee
"He's sort of the new age of sports influencer and he's one of the highest-paid people at ESPN. Credit to his career, but I just don't rate him."
11 - Cam Green
"I keep hearing people telling me he's going to be the next Ricky Ponting and that he bowls 150km/h.
"I'm just yet to see Cam Green do it consistently. He gets gifted a baggy green anytime he's fit."
10 – Boxing Day Test
"It's overrated. I look forward to it, but I just think the way that it is built up doesn't match it.
"I understand many love it, and that's okay."
9 – Compression boots
"You put these big boots on and they puff up, and they're supposed to compress your muscles and help you with the recovery and circulation.
"In my experience, they do nothing."
8 – Ice baths
"You get out and you feel 10 times worse than when you got in."
7 – The NBA Dunk Contest
"It is just a complete waste of time. It used to be great in the 90s. It's terrible now."
6 – Tennis on TV
"I love tennis, but I don't love tennis as a sport on TV. I think tennis on TV is overrated."
5 – Drafting a ruckman
"If you're a club, don't draft a ruckman. Just go and steal one from another club."
4 – Gatorade showers
"What a waste of time. Someone has to clean that up."

"What an embarrassment for anyone who thinks that's a good idea."
