LISTEN | Michael Carayannis's Parramatta Eels end of season review
Michael Carayannis has given his season review for the Parramatta Eels after a tough year for the blue and gold, which saw them fall dramatically from the highs of their grand final appearance in 2022 to finish 15th in 2024.
There will be a changing of the guard in 2025, after the club farewelled their longest-serving coach in Brad Arthur and captain Clint Gutherson, who five-eighth Dylan Brown described as the "heartbeat" of the club.
The Eels were without star halfback Mitchell Moses for majority of the season, despite him having a career-best year on a representative level, while also missing J'maine Hopgood and Junior Paulo for large parts of the season.

It will be a new-look Parramatta next season, with new coach Jason Ryles ready to step into his first head coach role after an extended apprenticeship under Craig Bellamy and Trent Robinson. He's also brought in speed galore in Australian winger Zac Lomax, ex-Bulldogs' winger Josh Addo-Carr, and Panthers' rookie Isaiah Iongi, which will give Eels' fans plenty to look forward to.
Signings: Zac Lomax (Dragons), Isaiah Iongi (Panthers), Dean Hawkins (Rabbitohs), Joash Papalii (Bulldogs), Jordan Samrani (Bulldogs), Josh Addo-Carr (Bulldogs)
Losses: Ethan Sanders (Raiders), Blaize Talagi (Panthers), Reagan Campbell-Gillard (Titans), Clint Gutherson (Dragons), Maika Sivo (Leeds Rhinos)
Carayannis's Grade: E
