The Masters is going down to the wire with Rory McIlroy poised to win a maiden green jacket at Augusta.

It would mark the first time since 2014 that McIlroy has claimed a major and victory would see him become only the sixth player (male) in golf history to win all four.

It will be as much of amental challenge as physical for McIlroy who is being chased down by Bryson DeChambeau - the man to claimed the US Open from him last year.

It's familiar territory for McIlroy who produced one of the greatest Masters meltdowns in history 14 years ago on this back nine.

Jason Day is flying the flag for Australia and is currently joint 6th.

We expect a champion by 9am AEST.
