Last week SEN announced 1170am’s new breakfast show for 2026 – Kick Off with Brandy & Jimmy – which will commence from Tuesday 27 January. From Monday to Thursday, Greg ‘Brandy’ Alexander and Jimmy Smith will come together for a dynamic start to the day, while Friday breakfast will feature a fresh voice in NRL Premiership-winner, Townsend.
The former Cronulla Sharks halfback and 2016 Premiership hero will bring current player insight and a wealth of experience to SEN’s morning audience, having only retired from playing professionally at the end of the 2025 season.
Mornings on SEN 1170am in 2026 will see The Front Office with Vossy (Andrew Voss) on Monday to Wednesday, while Thursdays feature Vossy’s Verdict, delivering sharp analysis and opinion from one of rugby league’s most respected voices. Fridays remain a fan favourite as Morning Glory with Matty Johns continues its unique mix of footy talk and entertainment.
In the afternoons, Arvos with Adam Peacock will provide a broader take on the sporting agenda, while drive-time favourites - The Run Home with Joel & Fletch (with Joel Caine and Bryan Fletcher) and Sportsday (with Mat Rogers and Jarrod Croker) – will keep Sydney sports fans informed and entertained.

Sam Thompson, Sport’s Entertainment Network’s (SEN) Group Radio Director, said the organisation was excited for what lies ahead in SEN Sydney in 2026.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chad Townsend to SEN. Chad and Jimmy will be a great addition to Friday mornings, complimenting Kick Off with Brandy & Jimmy, running from Monday to Thursday. Being so recently out of the game, Chad will bring a unique perspective to our listeners and combined with Vossy, Matty Johns, Adam Peacock, Joel & Fletch, Jarrod Croker who joins Mat Rogers on Sportsday, Sydney sports fans can expect an unbeatable line-up in 2026.”
