Munster confident he'll be fit and firing for Game I

Cameron Munster is confident he’ll be ready to go for Game I after being absent from Queensland’s training session on Sunday.
The star five-eighth for Melbourne has been under an injury cloud during Origin camp, with some tightness in his lower leg.
After not training on Sunday, there was plenty of speculation as to whether the Maroons’ captain would miss the series opener.
But Munster confirmed that it was merely to help avoid his body getting tight ahead of the big match.
“(I’m) just not used to doing, you know back-to-back days,” he explained.
“When you get a bit older, you understand your body a little bit more. If I went out yesterday, I would have been pretty sore today.
“So yeah, it's just a little bit of tightness in the body, and we just thought as a group, it was probably the best thing for me (to rest).”
Asked whether Billy Slater’s men were in an injury crisis, the Storm five-eighth rejected that theory, admitting if he had his way, he would have been with his teammates.
“A lot of people probably think there's a little bit of mind games going on,” Munster added.
“It probably wasn't ideal (for) me not doing yesterday because of the fan day and there's a lot of media around.
“But if I had my way, I would have loved to train.
“I was headbutting with the physios and the coaches, but they thought I can always train on the Captain’s run and get the body right for Wednesday.”
State of Origin gets underway this Wednesday with Game I being played at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
