The beach volley world championships in Adelaide have been bolstered by more incredible musical line-ups as the event heads towards its climax.
Ahead of the final four days of competition, multi-Platinum selling, Aria Awards winning powerhouse Illy has been locked in to headline the Centre Court entertainment program on Thursday night.
Illy will perform within the Night Session on Thursday’s Round of 16 elimination matches.
Thrilled to see the Adelaide event attracting such big names, Volleyball Australia CEO Andrew Dee said: “The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships are about more than sport, they’re about bringing people together through world-class competition and world-class entertainment.
“Illy is one of Australia’s most exciting performers, and his energy, creativity and connection with fans will make Thursday night something truly special. We can’t wait to see Centre Court come alive.
“We are proud that the World Championships has been designed as a celebration of the best beach volleyball athletes in the world, but also of Australian culture and creativity. Illy represents that spirit perfectly and we know fans will love every moment.”
